Donations
Donating online is secure and easy!
Monetary donations are always needed and welcomed. As the PAWS Humane Society is non-profit organization, we rely on funding generated by public fund-raisers, public contributions, contractual services, and adoption fees. We function not only as a humane society but also as animal control for the city. The city of Charles City has granted us a portion of tax dollars for budget support.

Volunteering [ Interested in volunteering? ]
If you can’t find it in your pocket book perhaps you can find it in your heart to donate your time to the Humane Society through volunteering. Our volunteering page outlines some of the ways you can help. You’ll be becoming part of the solution by joining a network of people working to make the world safer and more humane for all living creatures. You’ll also make the jobs of everyone working for animals a little easier by lending a hand and spreading the message of responsible pet ownership.

Wish Lists
You can also consider providing any of the items found on our wish list or such things as donating a bag of food on a regular basis. We can use many things which you may no longer have a use for or wouldn’t mind giving. Newspapers, bath towels, old blankets; the list is nearly endless. Check out our wish list for a current list of things we are in need of.

Gift Shop
Our online gift shop contains a variety of items whose proceeds from purchase go to directly funding the Humane Society. Every purchase you make goes towards the caring for the animals who need your help.
